Nakilat announced its financial results for the first half of the year ended 30 June 2018, with the company achieving a net profit of QR 445 million compared to QR 409 million during the same period in 2017, an increase of 9%.
Nakilat Damen Shipyards Qatar (NDSQ) has successfully delivered its first two newbuilds of fast luxury superyachts. The two 71-meter highly-complex fast diving vessels (FDV), are the first superyacht-quality newbuilds constructed entirely at Qatar’s world-class Erhama Bin Jaber Al Jalahma Shipyard. Adapted from the Damen ‘Sea-Axe’ fast yacht support vessel, these customized FDVs are designed and built to the highest standards, ensuring excellent performance, ease of maintenance and enhanced safety features.
Nakilat achieved another historical milestone today with the signing of an agreement with Excelerate Energy-USA, to establish a joint-venture company and acquire a 55% interest in a floating storage regasification unit (FSRU), the first such vessel to join the Nakilat fleet.

Nakilat is the first company in Qatar which has been certified to the new ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OH&S) standard issued by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance
