Nakilat has achieved a ‘Five-Star’ grading following its recent Five Star Occupational Health and Safety Audit conducted by the British Safety Council (BSC). This is the second consecutive year that Nakilat has received the ‘Five-Star’ grading, which is the highest available rating that can be achieved in the audit.
Nakilat has signed an agreement with McDermott to form a joint-venture (JV) company providing offshore and onshore fabrication services in Qatar.
Nakilat today reported financial results for its fiscal fourth quarter ended 31 December 2018, with a net profit of QR 892 million in 2018 (or QAR1.61 per share), an increase of 5.3%.

Nakilat-Keppel Offshore & Marine (N-KOM) has recently received its first floating storage regasification unit (FSRU) project at the Erhama Bin Jaber Al Jalahma Shipyard. The FSRU owned by Excelerate Energy (USA) will undergo drydocking, maintenance and upgrades at the facility, which is renowned for its expertise in handling gas carriers.
Nakilat-Keppel Offshore & Marine (N-KOM) successfully held a steel cutting ceremony for the first offshore living quarters to be fabricated in Qatar, at the world-class Erhama bin Jaber Al Jalahma Shipyard. The project scope was awarded to N-KOM by Rosetti Marino, a leading Italian company providing engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services to the energy industry worldwide.
Nakilat is honoured to receive the “Innovative Player of the Year” Award by The Oil & Gas Year (TO&GY), in recognition of the company’s innovative pursuits towards sustainable growth. The award was personally presented to Nakilat Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Eng. Abdullah Al Sulaiti by TO&GY Qatar Country Director Jurian Steeghs earlier today at Shoumoukh Towers in Doha.

Nakilat has been awarded the ‘Sword of Honour’ by British Safety Council, for organisations that have reached the pinnacle of excellence in managing the company’s health, safety and environmental risks. The ceremonial sword was received at a ceremony held recently in London.
Nakilat has collaborated with the Ministry of Municipality and Environment to organize an initiative with two local schools. The initiative is aimed at raising awareness for the importance of environment protection and preservation amongst the students from an early age.
