The opening of the nomination period was announced in two daily newspapers published in Arabic on (25/2/2019), (28/2/2019) and (6/3/2019).

The nomination period has been open for ten (10) days starting from 8 am on Monday 25 February 2019 until 12 noon on Thursday, 7 March 2019.

During this period, three candidates submitted their application forms to fill the two independent board member seats, as follows:
