Nakilat holds blood donation drive for employees

Nakilat recently organized a blood donation drive for its employees in collaboration with the Blood Donation Unit of Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC). Held at the company’s headquarters in Doha and the Erhama bin Jaber Al Jalahma Shipyard in Ras Laffan Industrial City, the one-day campaign was well received and saw to active volunteer participation by Nakilat employees and others working in the Al-Shoumoukh Towers, as well as those working in the Shipyard.
All volunteers were screened by healthcare professionals from HMC as part of their stringent quality control procedure to ensure the general health and suitability of donors prior to the start of the blood donation process. The blood donation drive comes as part of the company’s corporate social responsibility programme, which focuses on giving back to the society via four primary areas: health, education, community and environmental causes.
